The Music Emporium

Keith McCutchen Trio

Where music isn’t just heard — it’s experienced.

At The Kentucky Hug Music Emporium, music lives in many forms. Some nights it’s front-and-center on stage. Other times it’s a roomful of people leaning in together, listening deeply to a great record, a legendary performance, or a story told through sound.

Our music programming blends live performances, curated listening experiences, and high-energy weekend entertainment, creating a space where every visit feels different — and every genre belongs.

You’ll find dedicated listening sessions built around classic albums, iconic artists, and unforgettable moments in music history. These guided experiences invite guests to slow down, sip bourbon, and truly hear the details — the notes between the notes — that make great music timeless.

Live music is a cornerstone of the Emporium. Throughout the week we host solo artists, duos, jazz combos, acoustic acts, brass bands, and full bands, alongside piano nights and intimate showcases that bring performers and audience closer together.

When the weekend arrives, the energy rises. Expect fun, active entertainment with local and regional bands, DJs spinning vinyl and crowd favorites, upbeat piano sets, and dance-forward nights that keep the room moving long after the first pour.

From jazz to rock, blues to bluegrass, classical to funk, Americana to soul — all genres are welcome here. The Music Emporium isn’t about one sound or one scene. It’s about the shared experience of music bringing people together.

Whether you’re here to listen quietly, discover something new, or raise a glass while the band brings the house alive — the music is always part of the story.
